It rained on Thursday….then it froze. That’s really all I have to tell you. But that really didn’t stop us from having a good time.

Rune performs a mid-air contemplation about airing onto ice….

Early morning flat-light and slick steeps for Jrosen32…

Zippy drops in…..

Meanwhile Mischa tames the beast…

Zippy makes a margarita….

Then, jumps into oblivion….

On Waterfall, Zippy goes for exposure…

Dblatto performs a DIN test…..

666 crawls up above Ski School to find bluebird skies…

Tryone warps down into Sub-Sentinel…

Jrosen32 prefers this area…

But so does his younger brother….the conditions are beyond EPIC!!!!

666 drops into the same line….

and decides to jump into ice-cubes that results in a cracked goggle lens…

Arty50 gets the rare ‘last but the best snow’ line….

Back at SNK headquarters, someone breaks out the NEO*GEO!

SUNDAY SUN DAY!:

Tallac….

Stevens, and a nice little playground among the rocks…

Zippy found this guy preparing the powder leash on the Force9’s for the steep and deep…..granular.

Most of the snow firmed up quite a bit overnight, but with sunny skies, Zippy pretends its bottomless pow…

666 finds a log to straightline in Chamoix….

With the north facing shade creeping onto Wagon Wheel, 666 gets in one last lap….

Luckily he’s one obese American and is able to break the CRUST…

We head over to Palisades to ski the ‘breakable-ish crust’….

DaveP gets the dead-tree air….

Zippy tries his damnest to make the snow look remarkable…

His facial expression tells the story…

I wonder where Zippy’s line will take him…..?

More and more I feel like I also need a pair of the Moment Tahoe….

666 on the opposite side of TEH CAVE!

Same line, photo by Skiergirl…

Next, we decide to go for a 1.9 minute hike to Sisters Chute…

‘How is it?"….LOL

Zippy links up a couple semi-winter-crust-north-facing turns…

Seanyob takes a pic of the TR_KReaT0r from the exit…

Back over to above Ski School, Zippy locates some snow near some rocks…

This is the Kirkwood Bobsled course…
