‘Ghost Ride yo Whip’ to Kirkwood – 04/09/06

Date: April 8th – 9th, 2006

Location: Kirkwood inbounds, and Kirkwood out-of-bounds.

Players: Mrs. 666, 666, Sis666, Shugs, Slim, Pimpin’ Frog, Brooks, Kush, and others.

Synopsis: Its still snowing….Powder and packed-powder inbounds on Saturday, access gates opened on Sunday… Weather moved in, and it started to snow all over again when we left.

Saturday morning – Ghost ridin’ into the parking lot…

After some boot & binding issues, we head over to the Wall, some of us hit Sisters, some hit Heart, and then Kush finds a new line skier’s right of Once is Enough….dubbed Twice as Nice.

We run over to Thunder Bowl to find Craig Gabriel and TeleRob following us to the summit. I tell them to roll the chute…when we met up at the bottom, they had no regrets. Mr. Gabriel on the ridge to the Chute:

The sun pops out for about 5 mins and Mrs. 666 grabs some POWDER!
